We interrupt our regularly scheduled content to bring you a more interactive ALO. One lifestyle and social reflection issue to celebrate ALO magazine's fourth anniversary. Since the magazine's debut, we have documented the struggles and strides, setbacks and successes in the Middle Eastern community and collective culture-building efforts.
In these few years, the magazine has served as a forum for understanding the Middle Eastern culture and a great tool for those within to keep true to their heritage. Despite the world’s disorder and conflict, ALO's central focus remains unchanged: maintaining editorial integrity while striving to push the publication's quality ever higher each quarter.
The result? Excellence in covering the issues and addressing the concerns that affect you, our readers. While taking politics and religion out of our stories isn’t simple, we feel that ignoring these emotionally charged subjects, only illustrates that people are people; it’s only perspectives that are different.
We invite you to join us from here on out to be more interactive. In the following Special Anniversary Sections, there are so many ways to get involved and be heard. Many of our contests offer rewards such as traveling to intriguing lands like Jordan and a chance to grace the cover of a future issue. You’ll also notice that our website, alomagazine.com, will be increasingly interactive as well, with blogs, surveys and stories that are designed to get the pulse of what’s going on faster than ever. Celebrate the positive impact of Middle Eastern lifestyles and heritage, spawned by the vision of our great publisher. We look forward to walking with you along the way.
